Mayfield Estate Single Vineyard Pinot Noir The Pinot Noir grapes come from a single block in the vineyard, hand plunged to gently extract the flavour, colour and tannin from the skins. Aged in French oak barriques for nine months, the wine shows a dark red purple hue, with spicey aromas of strawberry, redcurrant, cherry and floral notes. On the palate the rich red fruit flavours and generous silky feel are balanced by good acidity, followed by great length and structure.
